About The Keji Ajayi Foundation
Empowering Girls Through Early Support, Education, and Opportunity
The Keji Ajayi Foundation (TKAF) is a Nigeria-based non-profit organization committed to supporting girls and young women through education, practical vocational skills development, menstrual health awareness, and community-based support programs.
Founded in 2023, TKAF was established with a clear purpose: to provide girls with the tools, guidance, and opportunities they need to build stable, independent, and dignified futures.
Across many underserved communities, girls continue to face challenges that begin early in life: limited access to education, lack of structured support, economic hardship, and exposure to unsafe environments. In many cases, intervention only comes after vulnerability has already escalated into crisis.
TKAF was created to help change that pattern.
Rather than focusing only on short-term relief, the foundation takes an early-intervention approach, working to support girls before challenges become long-term barriers. Through education, practical programs and community outreach, TKAF creates spaces where girls can learn, grow, gain confidence, and access opportunities that may otherwise remain out of reach.
Why The Foundation Was Established
The foundation was shaped by years of close engagement with girls and young women from underserved backgrounds. Through work carried out across legal, medical, and social support settings, the Founder Morenikeji Ajayi witnessed how lack of early guidance, education, and support often left girls with limited choices and increased vulnerability.
These experiences reinforced a simple but important belief: meaningful change begins early.
In response, The Keji Ajayi Foundation was established to focus on prevention, empowerment, and practical support, equipping girls with the knowledge, skills, and support systems needed to navigate life with greater confidence and stability.
A key part of TKAF’s work is also strengthened by the contribution of Omoye Owoseni, an educationist and children’s ministry leader with years of experience mentoring and supporting young people within her community. Her commitment to youth development and grassroots engagement continues to shape the foundation’s community-centered approach.
What We Do
Education & Scholarship Support
TKAF supports girls facing financial and social barriers to education through tuition assistance, school materials, and direct educational support. The foundation’s approach focuses not only on helping girls stay in school, but on ensuring they are given the stability and opportunity needed to continue learning with dignity and confidence.
Vocational Skills & Empowerment Programs
We deliver practical, hands-on training programs designed to equip girls with income-generating and self-sustaining skills. Through initiatives focused on baking, soap-making, craft production, and entrepreneurship, participants gain both practical experience and increased confidence in their ability to create opportunities for themselves.
These programs are structured to encourage independence, creativity, and long-term economic empowerment.
Menstrual Health & School Outreach
Through school-based outreach programs, TKAF promotes menstrual health awareness and supports girls with access to accurate information and essential hygiene products.
The foundation works directly with schools to create safe, informative conversations around menstrual health while distributing sanitary products to girls in underserved communities. These interventions help reduce stigma, support school attendance, and ensure girls can manage their health with greater confidence and dignity.
Our Impact So Far
Since its launch in 2023, The Keji Ajayi Foundation has implemented community-based programs across education support, vocational training, and menstrual health outreach, supporting over 400 girls and families across Lagos State.
From tuition support and educational assistance to hands-on vocational training and school outreach programs, TKAF continues to invest in practical interventions that address vulnerability early and create long-term opportunities for girls and young women.
Our work remains rooted in direct community engagement, accessibility, and sustainable impact.
Looking Ahead
As we continue to grow, our focus remains on expanding practical, community-centered programs that equip girls with the support, skills, and opportunities needed to build stable and independent futures.
We aim to deepen our educational support initiatives, strengthen vocational training programs, and expand our outreach efforts through strategic collaborations and long-term community engagement.
At the heart of our work is a continued commitment to early intervention, dignity, and creating opportunities that allow girls to thrive before vulnerability becomes crisis.
